Kennewick, WA to Belgrade, MT - Day 3

A very long driving day, today... 3 states, almost 900 km (560 miles) and sandwiches both made and consumed while traveling upwards of 70 mph. PS, Montana speed limits are awesome!

We left Kennewick on the I-90 and headed east through a little tiny chunk of Idaho and then into Montana. It's one of the things I'm most excited about with this trip - seeing so many different places, and scratching them off of the "scratch map" Adam gave me for Christmas (or maybe my birthday... don't quite remember, but what a great gift)! It was a lot of driving, but that's kind of what we signed on for, right?

Highlights included a beverage surrounded by 67000ish silver dollars at the cheesiest saloon, cafe, shop filled with tourist crap, casino and truck stop I've seen so far, multiple rainbows as we tried to stay mostly ahead of a storm, yet another tiny town named Manhattan, (we took pictures of it to send to Adam's Dad) and of course, the lovely house we're staying at (That we found through Air B&B).

Our hosts were sweet despite our late arrival, and are very eager to please.

Because it was so late, we took the cooler with our food and beer and wine out onto their front porch and had a little front porch picnic for a late supper before we went to bed.

Tomorrow, Yellowstone, and no idea at all where we're going to stay tomorrow night, since the inter webs are totally thwarting me!
